We have already been on the way to many charming places on our beautiful earth. At our 111th wedding we are on the Riviera de Maya – on the snow-white sandy beach of Yucatan (Mexico). Here Antonella and Sandro want to exchange vows. For the ceremony, we welcome our bridal couple in bright sunshine and with a breathtaking view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
The two lovers step in front of the priest couple with joyful hearts. Of course, even in distant countries, the gods are asked for their consent to the connection. Only after their approval do the priests decide and proclaim the new life-bond, and all of us become witnesses of the romantic vows.
The special highlight of this festive hour is the mystical ceremony of the Maya. Their impressive dances and rituals are woven into our ceremony and an absolute gooseflesh moment for all of us. In this merge of two pagan rituals you can feel the magic vibrations that spread on the ritual place.
Like 1000 years ago, when Vikings once visited Yucatan and exchanged their rituals and ceremonies with Aztecs and Maya, this seems to be for us today. A deep mutual understanding of symbols and ceremonial procedure overcomes all linguistic hurdles. Today Vikings and Teutons celebrate together with Maya and Aztecs. Many holidaymakers, bathers, locals and the entire hotel staff of the beach resort are witnesses of this.
The pagan ceremony on the beach ends with Caribbean sounds, and the newlyweds are duly acclaimed. The day ends with music and delicious food in the late evening, and will be remembered to all forever.
Dear Antonella, dear Sandro, it was a great pleasure for us to spend this day with you. The gods of two worlds will watch over you and guard your marriage covenant!
